Too far for me, but I will be fishing for Aoty 2016 fish in spirit of the celebration

I'll be there. Do you have enough tables/ezup ect? Headed down fri night and will be in Patterson or Los Banos overnight. I'll be there early. They start checking @ 6 am. They check kayak and gear for clean and dry (paddle, PFD, Tackle boxes) They are fairly reasonable about rain/wet... I put a towel in mine to soak up anything. If you plan to fish (I'll be on the water early 69 radio) Make sure all sand/water inside and dirt outside is cleaned off. See ya there!

Wanted to post this here so there would no confusion on "logistics" in regards to the AOTY/DOTY prizes, awards, plaques, kayaks etc.

For plaques/awards and prize kayaks:

If you win a top three Piscean Plaque, or one of the BigFish awards and aren't at the ceremony we will figure out a way to get it to you.

If you are AOTY (Clayman), and aren't at the ceremony we will figure out a way to get your prize Hobie Revo13 to you.

If you are DOTY (DamaniJ), and aren't at the ceremony we will figure out a way to get your prize JK Kraken 13.5 to you.

If you got second place AOTY (Uminchu), and aren't at the ceremony we will figure out a way to get your prize Kokatat package to you.

If you win the Participation Raffle WS Thresher, and aren't at the ceremony we will figure out a way to get it to you.

If a Junior wins the raffle for the Hobie sport, and they aren't at the ceremony we will figure out a way to get it to them.

If you win the "early signups" raffle prize Camera, and aren't at the ceremony we will figure out a way to get it to you.

For prizes on the prize table:

The AOTY and DOTY rules state "There will be prizes donated by sponsors (TBD) for at least the top three in both AOTY and DOTY. "

What we will do is that if you were in top three and not at the Awards Ceremony we will choose a prize from the table for you and get it to you (this applies to Adam415, LiveAlohaKris and JJQ). This is per the written rules.

We will then keep going down the list and calling names until all prizes have been taken from table by the anglers/divers who are present.

We aren't going to pick a prize (or let someone else pick a prize) for the people in 4th, 5th, 6th etc and then get it to them if they are not there.

This provides motivation to both place in top three, AND to attend the Awards ceremony.
