2015 AOTY and DOTY Awards Ceremony

Thanks everyone for a great day in nature.  BigJim, other volunteers, sponsors really made it happen.  That's my kid drawing the ticket.  He had an awesome time riding his bike, throwing stuff in the burn barrel with the other kids, watching a keg stand, watching dudes trash talk, eating goose and duck, wolfing donuts.  Most of all, he learned what it means to swear like a kayaker . . . .  He attributed this to "a guy with a beard . . . . not a big beard, just some on his chin."  Great hanging with you guys and gals.  See you on OTW . . . .

Tote and large tupperware went home with me.... Cooler full of  Went home with Chris too... There won't be any  when you get it back! Never seen so much left at an event before!!! Kids clothing all over! 

I also have a kelp clip and a hoodie that was left behind. Will try to get a pic of the hoodie posted.

Wow...very happy and proud of how it all went and hope everyone that came did as well!

I somehow screwed my back up so in pain now...hopefully gets better soon....

THANK YOU once again to everyone who donated/supported/came out etc.

And....if anyone picked up the black Jackson Plano box full of raffle tix please let me know...no big deal if lost, but it is handy to have for raffles.

Someone stuffed the box in my truck Jim when I loaded Matts Kayak on my truck. I guess they thought it was part of the kayak.  I realized it when I dropped it off at Matts house and left it with him as he goes to your area more often than me.

Thanks Jim for all the work and the great day--we had epic weather--my first time coming to a aoty doty year end event--wont be my last
driving home I was think- what great group of folks--I was feeling so lucky to be able to come and be there
met like ten new friends--at least ten

so much talent  diving and anglers--serious folks-  a bit of a serious side to it all---so much work to even place let alone take a win--humble folks -- but the amount of effort they had to put in all year long- unreal

turns out it was Bob Marley's birthday and KZSC had a non stop Bob show from one side of the pass to my driveway in seaside---the perfect end to a perfect day

It was good to meet some new faces, something I try to do at all of our get-togethers.
No fishing for me, but got out for a short paddle on a glassy Forebay, after I found my phone.
Good times my bros. and sisters!
