Any chance we can get the page # links to different pages of a thread a little larger? Maybe an arrow to go to the next page. I use my ipad and I have to zoom in so my fat fingers can click on the number I want to click on.  :smt002

The avatar  - the ability to click on it and make it bigger.  Trying to tell what people, or their prize catch, etc, look like is difficult. If we could expand it to the size of a thread posting that would be good

Exactly, because it looks like polepole's avatar says, "YOU SHOULD KNOW, THE BRONCOS ROCK."

Ahhhhahahaha, OMG that's hilarious.

BTW, you do know you have the ability to change that back at any time.  Poor Antonio didn't know that and had to carry "GO SEAHAWKS!!!" until after the game, when he finally asked me to change it back.  To which I said, "you can do it!".

BTW, thanks for allowing me a little exuberance in my support of a Seattle team.  I can't remember feeling this way since the 78-79 Sonics championship year.

Oh ... I guess there was the Washington Huskies college football championship year in 1991.  Split that one with Miami though ...

Hey Allen, a longer recent post thread would be nice since that is what I seem to key in on now.

Also, I liked that format showing all the aoty and doty recent catches, etc. I assume there was a performance reason you took it down?

What do you mean by "recent post thread"?  It's unclear to me ...

Yes, the AOTY/DOTY recent catches were server intensive and causing some issues (crashing of the AOTY site).  It's something on the list to revisit, but not near the top of the list right now.

I believe Rob is referring to the Recent Topics listing. Once you've viewed all the listed posts, you would have to search the forum for any other recent posts.

This may be beyond the scope of NCKA, but a recent classified posting made me think:

Wes (ChumChum) recently posted a WTB Monterey Bay Aquarium tickets.  Kirk (Lilriverman) and others chimed in, some with guest memberships.  I was looking earlier in the summer to go there, but the cost was prohibitive, and I didn't have the insight to ask my NCKA bros.

It would be nice to have something like an NCKA Members Only lending subforum.  I've got guest memberships to several places that go unused most of the year that other NCKA members could use. It would be a great pooled resource that would allow the maximum benefit for such things.

The idea could be expanded to things such as tools, kayaking gear, coupons, etc etc.

Kinda what I was thinking. I saw at a church bulletin board where they posted a 'needs' and 'free' section. A good way to help out a brotherhood as this.

I really liked G-Wizz's countdown to events idea, would be helpful on home page for event / vacation planning.

Sonics Suck had a natural ring to it. Guess that's why they had to move. They felt more comfortable being called Oakies
