His urban sombrero is a bit on the small side.

It's obviously not to scale.  :smt002

But it could turn out pretty cool once I render it in photoshop then add a bunch of shading.

The outline of the state as fishing line looks like my line does half the time. All jacked up.

That part actually IS to scale! I love maps, so I can draw maps from scratch no problem. Although, I accentuated Delgada Pt aka Shelter Cove a little more than it should be...

How about swapping out the ling in the current logo with something from Piscean library of artwork or anyone else's for that matter.

If Piscean agrees then I can easily make a vector image file from a photograph of his artwork.

Great ideas guys.  I love the free exchange of ideas.  I just thought about a "COAT OF ARMS" style logo.  It could incorporate freshwater, saltwater, rod, reel, spear, etc.

Thoughts?

Yakhopper, I like those (especially the second one), but the it looks like many other kayak fishing logos.

I say make it simple, shaterable and recognizable from a distance.

This is a great idea, and before we get too stuck in the "re-vamp" camp, I urge the NCKA talent to think outside the box and get creative!
Revamp is a good idea, but something fresh would be stoking!

I concur.

For guys that want the big 14" window stickers for their trucks, that ling head design was a nightmare.  Several shops turned me down because the amount of detail in it and those that would take the design....well it woulda been a decision between buying yourself a sticker or a new avet sx, and there was no guarantee that teh detail would be intact.

We need ZEE!!

Like this one? 35 bucks at Barber Sign in Petaluma. Or  just check the detail in Adams spare tire cover that I did for him.
