Novel Coronavirus impacts

Man... Sorry to hear that, Doug.

This is all getting more real by the moment. Emails have been trickling in from our corporate offices all day as this unfolds. Suggestions are rapidly becoming requirements. I’m the local health and safety coordinator for our office in Emeryville and I just got my first email from a colleague who believes he was exposed. (I had just met one-on-one with this colleague on Monday.)

I’m just thankful that I’m able to work from home while this all shakes out.

This is going to really suck for my teenager.  I'm worried about her.  Good news is she perked up when I suggested going camping and fishing for spring break since we aren't going on the college tour.

I guess at the end of it all, in times that are going to be hard, just take care of yourselves and your loved ones and each other, and don't forget where you came from.

Everyone in my building was just told that if you can work from home that you are now pretty much required to do so.

Just realized my company's stock has dropped over 40 points in the last three weeks.

Just got word from one of our project managers that SF Unified School District is shutting down until at least 4/3...

UC Davis and other WAC schools are suspending all sports programs until further notice.

CIF has cancelled the high school state basketball championship  games

The church I go to canceled a trip to Mexico (25 year tradition of building homes and helping people)

on  a larger scale

I get the feeling that this is deja vu of 9/11 with how everything is shutting down.  I wonder if the next major action is to stop all domestic passenger air travel?

Just realized my company's stock has dropped over 40 points in the last three weeks.

Yep.. 3 more years of delaying retirement... I got a long ass life of work ahead of me. or maybe i'll die of corona who knows

Yup. Gonna try a local lake for crappie. Weather app says wind not to bad with the rain.
