But there's no reason why they should be allowed to reign indefinitely.

I don't think that any of us want to.  But yeah, we should definitely give Sonny the boot.  :smt044

The rigidity of the current committee regarding SUP's isn't exactly a breath of fresh air. Time for some new committee members.

I thought that was kinda silly myself.....in the poll I voted to let em in.  They're closer to a kayak than a pedal driven hobie :)

Shit just got real...
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.

You guys ready to move on yet?

The committee was established because every year these vigorous debates come up, and their job was to provide more than just one person's opinion and just make decisions.  There is no way to satisfy everyone.  Nothing says they have to be transparent and nothing says they even have to listen to you (although I know they do and discuss almost everything).  You don't like it?  Fine.  But no need to be assholes or dicks about it.  Seriously.  I can tell you that there are a lot of current and ex committee members that have really negative feelings about how people treated them in these situations, myself included.

Oops, did I just open up the can of worms again?   :smt011

I'm ready to move on.....since we already covered aoty and gun control, I believe the winter agenda calls for:

A) a discussion of fish ethics (where we discuss the merrits of why "i" am better than everyone else),

B)safety, how the sky's will part and God will smite you down in waves of destruction for not wearing a pfd,

C) is an offshoot of the God smiting but should be a thorough discussion of religion.....cause nobody ever had differing opinions on the matter,

D) politics, cause liberals are socialist weenies and bible thumping conservatives are backwards hillbillies......but every body some how has common ground.

E) safety again.....cause a noob didn't search and find the other million threads or section dedicated to the topic.

F)someone's epic sturgeon thread cause someone screwed up winter nonsense by actually going fishing.

G)crab....and how it sucked that our season was cut so short.....and the associated jokes about sexually transmitted crustaceans

H) Additions:  feel free to add any that I missed.

......please proceed :)

Just wait till my dad and I smoke a pack of wolves this winter and I post a report with pics of the heaps of bloody carcasses and our smiling faces. Should be good for 30 plus pages of controversy :smt003
