Good Morning Brothers, I just entered and donated to sin coast kayak collection program. I read all the post on this thread and have question about launch point and weigh in station. I have never fished the area and I am hoping someone will help me and suggest the best parking spot/launch point with consideration for getting to the weigh in station as well. Thanks  :smt003

Nope.  Maybe hang an extra small bill on KConn for food.

And, Big Ken- launch on the West Side of the Harbor by Aldo's "A" Dock, or hand launch ramp "F" dock.  harbor shuttle goes across the channel from Aldo's to motorboat launch ramp.

Thanks Allen.

I invited her to come fish because she hasn't fished with me in awhile and I would love to have her along, even if she just sits on the yak and talks to me while I jig.  :smt004...but there is a good chance she will decide not to come, or if she comes we will just paddle around and look at seals and stuff.  :smt001

Looking forward to it!!

Jim

Ooops, forgot to ask about the waiver. Will it be OK to slip it in the door the morning of the derby or do we have to hand deliver it in person prior to the event or that morning . Thanks

I scanned my waiver and emailed it to them...waiting to hear if that's ok. Because I won't have a chance to drop it off between now & Sunday.

Is there going to be an official start time--or a pre-launch mtg?

Good morning bro, I hope that works or the slip under the door method. I really don't want to make the trip up there tomorrow afternoon. If have to go I would be glad to take yours with me brother and any others  in the monterey area to save them a trip. I have not seen any pre launch meeting info. I think it is launch when ever you want as long as the waiver is on file just weigh in by 1.
Let me know if the email thing works and any pre launch meeting ifo you hear of. If I all else fails I will leave Monterey around 4 tomorrow .
