Predator 13! NorCal ROOTS Derby!!

After a few years hiatus.....Kayak Connection in Santa Cruz wants to have a Fishing Derby again!!

Back in the day, Kayak Connection was the only Derby in NorCal. For YEARS! New owners Dave and Jessica Grigsby have really concentrated on providing for the kayak anglers.  Along with Ocean Kayaks, and Santa Cruz Kayak Fishing (me), KC is hosting at the Santa Cruz Harbor again.

Come enjoy some beautiful fall fishing in the protected Monterey Bay with your friends and neighbors.  Brand new Predator 13 1st prize, Werner paddle 2d prize.

All proceeds go directly to The Monterey Bay Salmon and Trout Project   mbstp.org

Signups:  http://www.kayakconnection.com

Hope to see you there!

Sounds like a fun time for all.

Parking? The size of tournaments has grown a lot since the last KC tourney. Parking for 100+ of us could be an issue. Do we all launch from the same spot? Are there any options to avoid the $20 in parking / launching fees?

you poor thing!

Kirk- Launch wherever you want at the Harbor.  Parking is on your own.  just be at KC by weigh in time.  they will have tourney rules posted v soon....

We don't expect tons of people at this event due to other tourneys within weeks of this one.
