Really.  Guilt trip him:  "You can't turn your back on family!!"  Make him feel really bad, then he'l have such a good time at the Derby he'll forget about it.  He wants to, deep inside. You would be freeing him. It would be a loving act.

Get paid on friday. I might try this.
Can we make it a handicap tourn. (locals must fish/paddle with one hand tied behind their back)

I'm confused on weigh rules. Weigh in at 1pm behind the shop. I assume this means that we will need to get our boats out of the water and then make our way to the shop for weigh in if I'm understanding this accurately that sounds kinda hectic.
