No brother ,I am going to play golf at noon at the pines and leave from the course around 3;30 or so if I need too . We can meet there or slip it in my car window while i am playing if all else fails. I wonder if moss landing shop is an option ?. Off to work bro I will check this thread after work for updates.  :smt006

Ooops, forgot to ask about the waiver. Will it be OK to slip it in the door the morning of the derby or do we have to hand deliver it in person prior to the event or that morning . Thanks

you can either email the waiver to the shop at [email protected] or drop it off any day prior to, or the morning of the derby, slipping it under the door is cool with me. The shop owners, Dave and Jessica, and I will be at the shop at 6 am to help the last minute sign ups and renters. Hope the bite is on!

Registered and waiver emailed!

FYI folks...there is a triathalon in town that day as well...they will be swimming around the wharf (starting from boardwalk side and finishing on cowells beach side).

http://www.santacruztriathlon.org/SCT/

I actually will be heading over to the wharf area to film a friend swimming for a little bit so will fish early, film, fish and then paddle in.

Gonna be fun!

Sincerely,

Jim

Hey everyone,

This will be my first true Salt Water Tournament, I'm ecstatic to experience the madness at a new level. I'm more prepared then ever for this trip. Kayak fishing seems to have overcome my life (says the ol ladie ), I keep saying to her its better than going to a  Bar or Reno RIGHT? =) HA. More important, still Just want to let you ALL know, although I don't post to much I enjoy everyone's POV's on every single topic and look forward to meeting legends such as Mooch at some event and all the locals in my area, met ricci on the 4Gino Chill at the port, hope he plans on relaxing this weekend ( putt putt golf maybe...). And to all I've met and can't f'n remember please don't hesitate to give me shit!!!

I'm leaving sac area in the afternoon tomorrow and headed to parajo dunes once again for the weekend.  I look forward to meeting new faces and seeing others already met.

Just want to confirm that taking the entry wavier and payment to a kayak connections, possibly moss landing, on Friday is a done deal and I can hit the water asap Sunday.

Thanks for the Info

Eric

Just so i have this straight...
-Park on west side and launch from A dock or F dock ($10 to park & launch)
-Catch fish then return to west side and load my kayak & gear, then drive over to KC on the east side by 1pm

Are the parking passes valid for both sides of the harbor?
And will there be an official start time/safety mtg/inspirational speech?

Thanks guys!
