I'm confused on weigh rules. Weigh in at 1pm behind the shop. I assume this means that we will need to get our boats out of the water and then make our way to the shop for weigh in if I'm understanding this accurately that sounds kinda hectic.

What's confusing about that?   :smt006

Hey matt.  Yes it is a matter of timing isn't it? You'll need to work that into your strategy.....

I'll see if I can persuade the harbor shuttle to make some runs 'cross-channel' so yakkers can leave their cars parked on the West Side of the harbor while enjoying the awards and bbq on the East side of the harbor, at the KC shop.

DC that's great!!  Let the crowd follow you, they'll get bored after the 100th cast.....

100th?  Try 10th.  :smt003

most likely just make us feel inferior as the sun rays shine, the whales dance and the mojo that is DC parts the water  :smt044  No man, seriously, not sarcasm.  DC caught more halis in SC in half a year than I have in my entire life  :smt001

I just registered

Get Mike E to come!!!!  You guys can stay at my pad the night before.

Allen

He already had plans that weekend but I pushing him to flake and come out with me.

Really.  Guilt trip him:  "You can't turn your back on family!!"  Make him feel really bad, then he'l have such a good time at the Derby he'll forget about it.  He wants to, deep inside. You would be freeing him. It would be a loving act.

Just confirmed Mike E is in.

I'm sign up.  With DC and Sin Coast fishing I figure my chances of winning are similar to the Giants winning their division this year. :smt005

While enjoying some fresh halibut last night, I submitted an event request to my scheduling analyst--and she approved, so I'll see you guys there!

Well played sir!  I can just imagine how it went down:

PK: "Hey honey, how's your dinner?"
SA: "It's fabulous, babe, thanks."
PK: "Great, then you won't mind if I go out next Sunday and try to whack another one?"
SA: "Do your thing sweetie!"

Hey Bushy, do we have to checkin in the morning? It says we have to turn in the signed waiver, but maybe we can do that in advance then launch early? You know me, I love getting up early.

you can pay and sign off on the waiver on the "morning of" but that will likely mean a later start for you.  Better to pre-pay and get the waiver in beforehand.

I imagine if you've registered and paid, you cold drop off the waiver in an envelope early before the KC staff get there at 6 or 6:30am....

Maybe contact the shop to be sure.

It's Squidbly running things for KC  (Travis)........
