SWS 5/1/13

Is it too soon to post this?   

I think it may not be as we got past the Salmon opener.   

SWS=Stillwater South in Pebble Beach.  The opener for RF was great fun last year.   The conditions were a little bumpy outside the cove but pretty nice inside.   SWS is generally pretty protected.   

I got skunked but Dpshim and LilRiverMan gifted me a few fish.

Last year we had quite a few turn out,  I may leave out a few on accident:
DPshim, Lilriverman, Myself, Meathunter, Al's Hobie, SinCoast, Stoggie, BigJim, JJQ,  some lurker named Aaron (Pond Poacher), ChumChum, Dronnlax, Solsurf1, I know there were a lot more too.

Target will be RF but I think we may be able to head out a little farther for a salmon troll too right?  It looks like the current salmon season regs are in effect through 4/30.

Awesome. I just put in for the day off. 

Looking forward to seeing you all out there!! Will try to bring a dive partner with me this time so nobodt gets nervous when they don't see me.

Season opens 5/1 for our area. 
Unfortunately, I think this will be the first opening day I miss in ~6yrs. Already requested too many days off work for fishing & family vacations this summer. But maybe I'll have to call in sick hahaha!

Gonna try to take a day off from work and join the fun.

Make sure to check out the thread from last year for info on how/where to park.

We need to keep the "locals" happy.
