I'm out.   

Sliced the tip of my finger almost clean off yesterday. Had to get 2 stitches just now. Need to stay clean and dry for 10 days.

Thanks Josh. Tempted to say F it and go anyway, but if I make it worse and keep myself sidelined for GS7 I would be REALLY bummed.   

I'll switch my days off work and get out there the Wednesday after once the stitches are out and I got the greenlight from the doc.

Ill be there !  Staying at VM park; fishing Wednesday and Thursday. 

I'm out, unfortunately I can't get the day off from work. You guys have fun out there and be safe. Watch out for those seal/sea lion.

Does anyone know if dogs are allowed on this beach? Was thinking about heading down on Saturday with the family and   dogs. Let em know

I think so ... I've seen people down there with their dogs.

Yes, dogs are definitely allowed on the beach. That's where all the PB residents walk their dogs to go poop.

Sorry about your finger Jim. You can always watch the cooler full of beer on the beach for everyone 
I upgraded from the elite 4 to the elite 5 and got er installed however missing one thing.. the hobie thru hull wire kit. I ordered it last Tues and shipped on Wed and it still hasnt arrived.  I was able to do a test run on Lexington last Sunday by snaking the lead under the center hatch and it works fabulously but I felt naked without a rod in my hand.  Ill be there all weekend and staying in Carmel Sat night. Good luck everyone and save me a few fatties!

I cant wait! That will be the only hole I drill in my kayak itself. I did install the Tallon Elite Socket on the center hatch and I didnt tear up at all drilling the holes. However I did tear up when she was finished  I copied wipeout's install on his Cuda because it seemed to be the best option out there. If the part doesnt come to the office this morning Im going to next day air one so I can get this install finalized. Are you going to be out there this weekend Bill?

BigJim, what do you think about the forecast?  You probably are there more often than anybody else.
