I like the existing badass design as well.

The new proposed one looks too northwesty.  Also, can't help but wonder why those fish are gettin their 69 funk on,...just sayin.

If we use the current logo, i think the ling needs an eye patch and maybe a five o'clock shadow to give him a little charm  :smt002.

I've been working on modifying the existing logo to simplify it a bit and also incorporating the "state" outline.  Its not done, but I'll post a pic up tonight to see what everyone thinks.

thoughts?  The text will most likely change and the fishing rod/ oar could be cleaned up too.

The picture looks too dark!  Can you check it?

This is my last modification on the design I was working on.  I am cool with the old logo as mentioned before and interested in seeing others attempts at something!

Rawyak:  Looks good.  Either the spine fin didn't convert or you might have overlooked it.  It looks funny without any type of fill IMO.

yea.  Its not 100% yet.  I gotta fill in that top fin still and create some kind of unique text.

Yeah I think adding the fill to the top fin will make the ling look complete and bad ass.  The only other suggestion I would have is maybe make the lines in the eyeball a tad thicker.  Might be hard to get them to resolve that fine a line on a logo / T-shirt print.  Other than those small things, I think you did an awesome job!

Thanks RAWYAK.  Can I see a version with the teeth black and the inner mouth white?  That big cavernous black mouth always pulls your eye away from the rest.

Also, a few different font options.  Or G-Whiz ... where are all your fonts?

Just curious how would it look if you make the NCKA in smaller font and put all the letters on same level.

I actually thought the same thing about the black mouth.  Definitely, the text needs work.  I'll make some changes and get some other versions out as soon as i get some time.  Next week probably.  Thanks for the feedback!
