Man, how frigging brutal is that!  You guys are studs.  I think I'd have to be dropped off at the hospital after that.  Break out the painkillers.  Nice work dudes.

Jeez, I have a hard time carrying my surfboard down that washout.

Just awesome guys! The pics are really great motivation to get out there and "do it"!

Too bad I burned my WAF account buying a yak on Friday and then fishing BH on Saturday, or I would have definitely had a go. Count me in next time (better start training for it now!)

I think a better word for it would be that you missed out, not on your catch, but the kayakfishing & diving. jim

Yes I really wanted to go on this but we did take our dive boat past horseshoe and found some awsome fishing and ab diving on Saturday. We stayed close to Ocean cove on Sunday hoping to get back early but that didn't happen. Glad you guys had a great time. NO 10's but a lot of 9's by my buddies and me.

We saw a school (pod?) of Rizzo Dolphins come by that was at least 100 fish (I know...mammals) deep.

They were jumping, spy-hopping, and tail slapping all over the place. One of the most awesome spectacles I've ever witnessed, and easily made this trip worth it. Unfortunately they were just out of camera range.

I was looking for these dophins or porpoises and a picture of the Dall porpoise was the closest I could find. The rizzo's aremore gray. I got a pic and if you enlarge it and look to the way right you can see the dorsal fin. . Really high and pointed like a killer whale.

The one I saw continually breaching was clearly black and white, and looked just like an orca...that's why I thought they might be rizzos.

But looking at pictures of rizzos, you're right - the fins don't match.
