I must of caught and released at least 15 gophers and a dozen chinas. Only got one verm, a nice 5lb'er. Couple micro lings and that's it.

Soory I missed this one.  I ab dive that spot a lot and can barely get back up with just a float tub.  You could have used an inflatable kayak in that ocean.  Jeez.  I wound up fishing for bass in freakin Putah Creek.  Glad you conquered the hill without loosing anyone.  Sucks that the fishing was off. 

Now THAT is the true Soul of Kayakfishing...
