Thanks to Craig for letting me borrow the yak, Sorry I left so early, but I got my limit and off the water to make the trek home. I hate to say this but the hill was no big deal, kindof shocked the buff duo of Freddie and Stu, left me to do it alone. No worries still had a great time with Tigerfish, craig and the others. Guess they will have to hit the gym some more.........:smt003

After yesterday's news I'm definitely in for round two.

In Loving Memory of Mooch, Eelmaster, Shicken, and Cabeza De Martillo

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

Craig -

I am in if you want to fish it one last time. I was fishing the central coast the week you made the last trip. I have 60' of 11mm rope and an ascender which makes rope drops pretty easy. Looks like we could drop them in a series of belays. You may also be able to drop them down the steep face but looks like you would need 1-200 ft of rope and find a real stable place to drop them from.

Jan1st is the date the closures go into effect. Lets go by the weather so all can feel comfortable. We have until Oct. 31st. Any suggestions will be appreciated. I have reservations at Stillwater cove noirth on Sept 11th and 12th. 3 sites all together Friday and Saturday night. This can accomodate a  lot of people. I hope the weather will be good that weekend. All invited.

I may be interested.

About 25 years ago, I used to launch my Mallotte at these coordinates that are about a mile south of Horseshoe:

38.598700  -123.355753

Check it out on Google earth.  I think it might be easier.  There's no death climb anyhow.
