So far conditions are looking pretty good for the morning and by the time everyone is off the water it will pick up.

Prize info! It has been a hell of a time finding prizes with all the shipping and manufacturing delays. So this is why it has taken so long to come up with a prize list. But here it is! Also, there is a bunch of swag. Everyone will be going home with something even if it just a swimbait

You must be in line by 12 noon. I am not seeing what post you are referring to? Winner announcement and raffle by 12:30. Are you referring to the 7 to 12:30 on the flyer? If so we are counting the time it is going to take to weigh in

Do we need to be present for the raffle to win?  Feeling like there isn't enough time if I fish up until the 12:00pm time limit, and then try and pack up everything in 30 mins to be at the raffle in time.  On the other hand, maybe I'll get a huge fish and come in early

Keep in mind you have to be off the water before noon because you have be in line for weigh-in by noon.  From the derby page: *Anglers must be present and in line for weigh-in by noon to qualify.

Yep, I'll be back by noon either way or sooner to get in line if I have something to weigh in.  But still not much time to pack up, with another 79 or so kayakers all at the same time trying to pack up in 30 mins.  So if I don't need to be present to win, it would make it easier to pack up, and not leave everything down on the beach unattended.

Catch big fish, no clothes needed, as many treble hooks on your line as you can fit 

Actually I’m pretty sure there  are a bunch of MPA’s and other protected areas in the general vicinity. That’s why I plan on mostly floating near the launch and drinking adult beverages

Just a heads up, there’s a school of baby thresher sharks cruising the area…a few were caught off the wharf yesterday.

Must be present for giveaway. We are not selling additional tickets. Since we are not a non profit we are legally not allowed to sell tickets. But there will be a donation box for mbstp
