You must be in line by 12 noon. I am not seeing what post you are referring to? Winner announcement and raffle by 12:30. Are you referring to the 7 to 12:30 on the flyer? If so we are counting the time it is going to take to weigh in

Adam, in reading the URL link that you posted, I was commenting on the line that said competitors must be in the check-in line by 12 noon. Perhaps the 12:30 time on the flyer refers to the start of the raffle?

Just hoping to avoid confusion by anyone thinking that 12:30 on the flyer is the check-in deadline. I've seen it happen in the past.

Adam!  Thanks so much for putting NCKA 1st DIBS up!!  This year should be the best MBK Derby ever!  And, they have ALL been great!  Guys, sign in early....I have a feeling this will fill up quick once it's open to the general public.

Though not a "Pro" for OK/OldTown anymore, I'm proud to sponsor this derby especially because Adam's doing all the work.  (And doing it well, I might add)  Santa Cruz Kayak Fishing and Surfcast Guide Service represent!!  Also I am as always the weighmaster for the derby. As such I cannot take overt bribes, but everyone should be really nice to me all the time anyway. Any old Van Stahl reels in the 2000-4000 class or tuna Avets or top-end rods from Perch to Tuna I accept as gifts only, and will have no bearing on my weigh-in decisions.

For those who have not participated in this derby, It's always a blast and that corer of Monterey Bay is probly the most consistent  in terms of conditions and fishiness year-round.  Derby is nott till September so it will pay to take a couple trips outta MBK Beach and get the lay of the area. Also you can stop in and say hi to Adam, Cass and the crew at MBK.  Long time never falter supporters of NCKA.  All proceeds of all these derbies for the past 15 years (?) go directly to MBSTP.  (Salmon and Trout Project)
