MBK Fishing Derby!

Anyone have a spare diver fish clip/stringer that I can borrow during the derby? I seem to have misplaced mine and it looks to be too late to order one online from Amazon.

+1, the last one I bought was at the last MBK derby I attended and it's my favorite one to use too.

Not fishing but made the drive to see the launch…

Got lucky and picked up a bunch of squid prob about 60 ended up jigging/slow trolling live squid. Ended up with a verm, ling, hali, white fish, and tons of calamari. First time catching squid and worked out to be an amazing bait. I was going to weigh the fish but was too slow to get back. The third place winner was 12 pounds 6 oz Hali pretty sure mine was a bit less. It was 26 inches and my first ocean halibut. This was a great rebound from losing my drive at Muir beach. Had a lot of fun and picked up some nice swag too.
