 Chuckies sturgeon drought is officially over.An emotional voice crackled on channel 69 at Montezuma slough.

After nearly 4 years.... the monkey finally fell off my back....and drowned in Monsterzuma Slough.   
The best part of my glorious moment is that it was witnessed by my good fishing buddies.

Guys... Thank You for sharing the gorgeous and memorable day with me! 


55 inches and around 35 lbs.  Caught on grass shrimp.

Danglin,thanks for finding a good spot.Awful long paddle 200 yds. :smt005We were marking so many fish we just parked and set up the line of death.I have to go back for revenge,caught one oversize 69" and went for a zig zag spin around sleigh ride.Then set up on a under size  :smt010It was a blast,great weather and of coarse good company.
