Whats the rules on posting fish really? Ive seen duplicate posted fish, out of season fish, hell even endangered species posted. I bugs me but is there really a rule against breaking the law to handle a fish in the means of points?

I played last year, after witnessing the same thing I decided against playing this year...the concept is cool, it's a nice way to log catches, but the posting up of no-take species wasn't cool, and not something I want to be a part of.

WTF??? I just looked at the rankings for this year so for add there are people that have Lings  and canaries registered for Feb. I guess Fishing Regulations apply at all?

Those were caught in Oregon. Season is open there, and all legal.

Just as a reminder, fish caught outside of California are governed by the regulations of the state in which they are caught. Our region isn't limited to CA.

Short answer is no, but it is in the rules if you want to dig into it.

I got on a team a couple years ago and quickly learned that it wasn't for me.  Too much focus on numbers and not enough caring about fish.

If you have a team member from out of your region the points won't count for total team points, but we clarified with the organizers before that out of our area fish still count for our team as long as the angler is registered in our region.

Rob that is not intended for anyone. I just dont think I can be part of something that will allow anglers to fish anywhere they want and get the points for their region. what the hell is the purpose of having regions then?
