Are you getting mad at rob for something he didn't do?  He took a picture of it and released it. He didn't keep it.

I don't think taking a picture of it is illegal.

I'm sure someone here will take offense or twist this up, but here goes.
Read the first few posts by Derrick, he asked a fair question, after getting blasted for asking, now it has twisted around so much that Derrick is asked if taking a picture is illegal, yet NO ONE seems to care that the fish in question was TARGETED OUT OF SEASON.

Rockfish are in season in Oregon, where rob was fishing when he took a picture of the canary.

He's fishing in Oregon. Right now, in Oregon, yelloweyes, canaries, China's, coppers, quillbacks and cabezon are closed. All other rockfish and lingcod are open.

I don't get what is morally wrong about it? I  took one picture within the rules as answered by Oz on Facebook.  I didn't target it, it's swim bladder was showing some so I still had to make sure it swam away anyways.  Fortunately it swam away on its own.

This thread just cracks me up.  Just quit whining and get to catching a bunch of fish so yall can get some points up.  I'm going to post at least 200pts this week.
