Seems like everyone had a great time at Albion on and off the water. Thanks everyone and looking forward to next year.

Missed everyone this year.... First and hopefully the last time I'll miss this iconic event.  I'm on the mend and appreciate all the kind thoughts and prayers.  Huge congrats to the winners for some solid stringers on what looked like some pretty tough conditions.  See y'all next year.  KZ

Sea conditions suck and potluck food not enough.  Hahaha I had beans.  No problemo though.  Absolute fun and chillin with friends and family is worth coming back every year.  Thanks Craig and Linelle for all your hard work in putting this together every year. 

From a relative newbie here;

- I attended my first NCKF event.
- Thanks to Craig and Linelle (Ravensblack) 4 the planning & execution
- Met lots of folks. Some pay it forward.
- Caught some fish, NO salmon & nothing to brag about.
- Performed my own version of vessel inspections otw and in the parking lot. 

Note to self; Need to make more than a gallon of smothered collards next time, they disappeared fast.

"I had fun", is a grand understatement when referring to Albion 2014.

Huge thanks to Craig, Linelle and all of the sponsors and crew that worked hard to produce a great event!

I had so much fun hanging with my NCKA brothers and sisters, meeting new members, and refining my camping and fishing skills. Thanks Racinrob for sharing your campsite, it was a fine home for a few days.

I paddled upriver on Fri. with rockfish/Jim, and went out into the ocean on Sat. and Sun.

Tourney day I caught a couple of smaller fish outside, then a couple more inside after I bailed as the huge fog bank rolled in. Lost more set-ups than fish caught   and no pink love - next time.

Sunday, I ended up launching at the crack of 10:30 and the day seemed promising as I nailed some nice fish right off, inside, on naked iron. It was cool to be OTW with Vwool, abdiver, Pakeha and John, all of us catching the willing rockies! Went outside and tried for salmon again with no luck, then wound up back at the cove with Alien and Jason for a bit, before Naoaki rolled in with no pink. Naoaki and I finished out the day with a few more RF's.

It was cool to hang with everyone at the potluck, and beforehand even got a Uke jam in with Scottymeboy as I cooked my Asada potluck meat. Wish I would have made more of an effort to round up musicians for a group jam, but every time I would get the urge I would notice that people were already sleeping! I gotta get it going earlier I guess. Shout out to Marv for the tasty pizza slice, bro you are doing it right!

Tony, those are great photos! Great nap shot, too, FW. So we, myself included have made so many alternate spellings for our host's lovely, capable and hard-working wife... (Linelle?) to make it fair at the Davis' house, we should share this with Craig, Kraig, Krag, Kryag, Krayg.

Please chime in with your own version just for fun. I'd love to see FisHunter's excellent style on this.

A potluck where the food runs out is no fun for anyone. IMO they are not meant for large crowds.
