Hmm. New outback possibly soon? I guess I should wait on replacing mine. What do you think the longest it could be is? They release one every year right?

I don't think the dragonfly transducer will fit in the new Lowrance mount plate due to its length.  You could still do a custom mount for it though.

I think Raymarine was trying to compensate for something with their "bold" transducer size :smt002

Is it new or is it the same as in the PA/2014 revo?  If so, it will fit.

However 50/200 lowrance ducers DON'T fit, right?  and also HDI versions don't fit very well either right?

I have not tried the HDI transducer in the 2014 Hobie/Lowrance mount.

Are specs available for the new AI?  I wonder what all the increases in size do to it's performance, handling, transportability, ...

The one item I was looking for is there...the transducer mount.  I'll be checking this out as soon as it's GA.

Man... I just got my '09!  Oh well... the real choice will be:

1) Upgrade to the newest model

OR

2) Upgrade to one of YOUR "old" AI's with the newer rudder design...    :smt007
