I don't think the dragonfly transducer will fit in the new Lowrance mount plate due to its length.  You could still do a custom mount for it though.

I think Raymarine was trying to compensate for something with their "bold" transducer size :smt002
Is it new or is it the same as in the PA/2014 revo?  If so, it will fit.

However 50/200 lowrance ducers DON'T fit, right?  and also HDI versions don't fit very well either right?
The HDI transducer fits just fine. I've put lots of them in. Not 100% positive but I'm sure the long skinny one will fit too. I haven't had a chance to play with the ray marine yet.

The older DSI should fit with much room to spare.

Meanwhile the navy has been looking for a fuel efficient aircraft carrier,a dn I think Hobie just came out with it.  WHat a pig 230 pounds?  small jon boats weigh less than that, and cost less too.

Timely shots of the new transducer scupper. Thanks guys!

Kevin, I thought I heard the nuclear-powered carriers could go 10yrs without "refueling"
Also I think you're referring to the new Pro Angler tandem that weighs 230lbs...not the new AI.

The design changes described online do not reflect additional manufacturing or marketing costs, so shouldn't result in increased retail.  Also, get's much more expensive and the target market gets really narrow.

New seat= increased cost
Mold change for the new seat= increased cost
Completely new AI= increased cost
Any time they change the mold it costs lots of money, or like the AI make a new mold.
