"pets: they can't open doors or drawers"
Really?

I'm a non-believer until such thing is scientifically proven. Thru out the ages, there isn't one case where it can be proven without a doubt that such thing exists. I believe more on the existence of UFO's than ghost. Now, it doesn't mean I don't freak out if something appears behind me in the dark. I'm not trying to argue whether ghosts exist, just trying to help put you in the right peace of mind. I am sure there are valid explanations to what you've been experiencing.

My brother died a few years ago. It hit me like a baseball bat,we were very very close.
The last time I spoke to him was on the phone on my way to the Laguna Seca gift shop, and we were fading in and out as I drove the curvy road into Seca so i pulled over and was standing by the Mazda raceway platform before the state parks shack, chatting away.
I lost him and called him back and he said his battery was dying and he could hear me but I could not hear him answering me,he told me just keep talking even if you cant hear me I hear you, moments later the call again was ended /dropped.I was going to call him back later, but we had talked for a long time and covered all the usual gripes and humor.
Those were his last words to me,he died a few days later very suddenly from a stroke,he was 52 and in great shape,so it was a surprise -to say the least- that he of all people dropped dead..
After getting the bad news by phone from N.Y  right after he passed, I had to get out of the house ,maybe just go for drive,do something .
As I was driving my my phone was resting in the dish under my E brake,it began taking pictures and took two...they were fogged and were of the E-brake and steering wheel half and part of my fingers on the wheel etc,but the pictures also had a haze or out of focus quality and had a double exposure misty white haze.I saved the pics somewhere and will look if they can be found I'll post them ,they are very surreal, even without the story.
I have never had a phone take pictures on its own while laying flat with nothing pressing on it, I could hear the phone snapping pictures as I was driving/crying a bit, very strange event.

Just because we haven't caught one yet doesn;t meen they don't exist :smt064  We find new species of fish in the sea & unearth fossils of anchient animals that we never knew existed.  Ghosts are tricky buggers! :white

DFG says bag limit one per day & not from a tributary & only with a barbless circle hook on the third thursday of every fourth month. :smt005

I have a good friend who used to not believe in ghosts. One day another of his friends (who I also know) asked him to accompany her  to help "cleanse" a house of ghosts/demons who were tormenting the people who lived there.
He said that he was scared shitless for over two hours.  What he saw, heard, felt, and smelled was much worse than any horror movie.
Since we know each other well he told me the story but would tell no one else because he was concerned they would think he was crazy.
"Pedo Viejo" is what Antonio called me.

I some what believe there is something spiritually running amuck in my house; I dont want to say my house is "haunted", because he doesn't try and scare us, just seems like he is a practicul joker....

Some time ago, a young boy passed away in the house next to us; the neighbors say some times they sense a presence or odd things happens....

I believe it is this young boy playing pratical jokes on us, like hiding keys, hiding money (lots of money), putting markings on the walls or mirrors, moving things around, etc....

Example: I put my wallet in the same place in the RV every time I use it.... it's just easy to get to when I need it.  When I was leaving a kayaking event and went to get my wallet, it wasn't there. I searched the entire bedroom of the RV and it wasn't there. When I got home, searched it again, nada; I tore the whole back of the RV down (closets, drawers and cabinets), NOTHING! For a week, I did nothing but search everything I possibly used, over and over again, but didn't find it; i did find other things I was looking for before, but not the wallet. After a week and a half of searching, I just happen to go into the RV to get something out of the fridge, decided to stuck my hand in the drawer where I kept the wallet and IT WAS RIGHT THERE!

there are alot of other minor things, that can not be explained...

it just frustrates the hell out of me or cost me money to fix/replace... right now, trying to track down an electrical issue that cant be explained; changed out the breaker, wall outlets and wall switches, but 3 out of the 4 outlets/lights (1 outlet and 2 ceiling lights) don't work... so I will be troubleshooting this on my days off, instead of fishing... :smt013

90% of the time there is a G.F.I outlet that has tripped tripped somewhere subtle, like outside deck -or garage -or guest bathroom and everything after that G.F.I wont work right....not being a smartass--- :smt001 trying to be helpful..but you have checked them all I'm sure-has happened to me a few times on jobs and finally found one(G.F.I outlet) hidden behind a hedge or lounge chair on a deck etc..

If ghosts are invisible and walk thru walls and such, how could they pick up and move physical items?

Ok...so I'm posting this with absolutely no disrespect for anybody...

I was at the beach last week with some family and friends...

http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php?topic=54161.0

One of the pics of me and my buddy Jerry had some blurry haze in it...I figured just water on lens...

Get a PM on facebook yesterday from this woman who was a friend of Mooch...

She says she thinks the blur was his spirit and that he was there saying hello to me...

I have no clue.....

But it was a special day and I KNOW Joel would have had fun paddling, chilling, eating and telling jokes with blond girls in bikinis.  :smt004

Makes me smile to think he might have been there with us.

It was definitely Joel sending a message.

"Watch out for kooks" I'm pretty sure is what he means.

Not sure I believe in "ghosts," but I do believe that there are entities that we cannot understand/see. I recently moved into a buddies for a few months cause he lives close to where I am working out of town. I was using the washroom, playing on my phone when I saw movement from the corner of my eye. I look and the corner of a bath towel is lifting UP about 6 - 8 inches. I initially thought it was falling but I watched it go up. gravity does not work that way. Following this the towel swayed significantly for an extended period of time then just stopped, not slowed down. Then the other day there was extremely unusual power disruption in the house. About the half the kitchen appliances lost power, but the others didn't, the cablebox/modem lost power, but the light on the same plug didn't. Every thing came back on in a few seconds. Just weird stuff. Have never felt threatened, just creeped out. My buddy has never seen anything and thinks I am crazy. I know what I saw, but its his house so maybe it came with me.

Also, at my sisters old house there was this black German shepherd that lots of people saw including myself. She also had a tervuren so I just usually thought it was him. On numerous occasions I would step over the dog in the hallway only to see her dog in the kitchen, or see a dog by the door and go to let him out only to see her dog already in the yard.  Noone was ever scared of the ghost dog. I do not think that these experiences are the actions of deceased people, but rather another entity we don't fully understand.

here are three pictures that my phone took right after my brother died, took by itself and they are of my hand and steering wheel-which is no big deal really,I sent them to my e-mail and looked at them later and they kind of freaked my gal and I out so I saved them in a file...
