Someone's looking out for you.

Casper :white

It didn't trip the breaker Glen?

No... thats the weird part.... There was a Breaker that was "tired" and I thought that it was the problem; all the time it was another breaker that was still "hot". So all for the last 2 days, my house was a timebomb waiting to lite up; it was only when I found a hidden outlet (buried behind a bunch of magazines and a drawer) that I found the missing link to my problem.

The one who dies with the most toys, WINS!

Damn!

Found a problem with my dryer cord only because we had to move the dryer to get to an access panel thru the floor (under the dryer) because we had a water leak @ the main incoming pipe.  Had I not have discovered the leak, the dryer wire would have continued to run damaging hot & a fire would have soon happened.  When I moved the dryer to get the access, the negative lead inside came undone.  When I looked closer at it, I soon realized then my bro-in-law, while trying to help one day around our house, installed crimp-on connectors but didn;t crimp them .... just wrapped them in some electrical tape.  All the while the dryer is running, the shaking was causing the wires to bounce around within the "crimp" terminals & heated the wires till they were glass-brittle!  Luckily he isn't an electrician ... just a mechanical engineer. :smt009
