I'd like to come but I was busy moving last month and never got my drive cable ordered till Tuesday.  Can some one bring a v2 hobie drive for me to use till my part comes in?  Pm me if you do. Thanks. I'lltakecareofitlikethat!!

I'm not sure what a v2 drive is, but I have an extra mirage drive with turbo fins I can bring.  It is for my revo.  Let me know if that will work for you.

yes yes...it has been getting some decent wind last few sundays i was out......the news says low numbers each time I've been out but twice it was decent winds...so much so that a sailboat yelled over "your getting you workout in"....we are heading out now 6 a.m for a friday on the water early...when it fo sho is like glass...
see you there ,,,oh and our fish and dives can be a bit piggy to paddle too...stable is the p.c wording

       Well  if that don't work out with Radons , I can always bring an extra Raptor.     It should be OK for you to be seen in one,  you're about the last guy that's NOT sponsored by a kayak mfg.     LOL

I was there when he forgot it ... PIF 2012 @ Monterey I believe.  Was a slooowwww paddle day indeed.

Yeah, I remember too. His forearms looked like Popeye's after all that paddling.  Didn't have his drive well plug either. Must have been a wet ride

Funny you mention the drivewell plug because that is one piece I ALWAYS neglect to bring.  Guess I should...

   I think both of us wound up fishing sanddabs in front of the harbor

yean we got a lot of sand dabs that day.... i didnt regret not having my drive, but man, where my arms tired...

can you imagine the consequence if I forgot my drive and it was 50 knots at the same time? ohh my...

I've always had good luck at that spot except for two weeks ago ... not a single one.  That was also the day we almost got run down by the crew of that green sailboat ... what a dick!
