   That face indicates I'm doing my best to relax. 

Eric you know damn well that was me. And that was after I had announced that I was at the launch and clearly told everyone on the radio that it was A hoax.I had nothing to do with the initial asshole who said people were getting towed. I would not have let that happen. I saw no tow truck and replied that thru the radio. Over the years I have learned how sensitive you are and for that I am sorry. As for parking behind you I wasn't driving.

Sorry I missed the part where you clearly told everyone it was a hoax - I did have my radio on and off and could well have missed much.

Sorry too that I had the report wrong about who parked behind me - do you care to let me know who was driving so I can ask that person to please not park behind me or anyone else?

I missed that part too.  In fact a lot of us missed it, including our driver who paddled all the way in, and a bunch of people around me fishing.  I asked over the radio later what the status was, and was kind of rudely told "where the fuck have you been, it was a hoax.".  Well, I had my radio on and the volume up the whole time.  I was right there and listening, and still didn't even know it was a hoax.  Totally uncool.

All I'm saying is that radio communication is unclear enough, no need to joke around about the hoax and risk further confusion.  There was a lot of confusion on the water over an extended period of time ...

I understand. I am also sorry. Kinda. I felt that I was loud and clear about the guy who was talking shit. Call me when you get A chance.

Andy and I were on the beach the whole morning and trying to get to the bottom of it.  We talked to the tractor guy and he explained that there was no way any tow truck drivers were called to drive all the way over there for some parking violation.  In fact he said that the most that could happen is some tickets from the fire department for parking in unsafe or fire access areas. 

So low and behold the fire department shows up and so we ask him, before we knew he was NorthCoastAngler and on NCKA, and he said there was nothing wrong with anthing he had seen on the beach.  Then we got to chat it up with him about joining NCKA.  Was great meeting you!

Wow.  Seriously?  I got on the radio to find out who parked behind me and how I could get out of there on Friday.  I'm sure I said it wasn't cool that someone parked behind me, but "unfriendly banter"?...

Meh, frikkin locals & their "I grew here you flew here" attitude. It being my first GS event, I'm not afraid to say I got punk'd.
BUT I was too blissed to be pissed! so in my book it was a fail on the jokesters part.

Cut it out! Its over lets all move on...Just say you got punked, remember last time we are framed for trashing mailboxes, a local might have pull that off.....Please all good people here are getting worked up let just end it period..
