My favorite was all the chatter about the towed vehicles. Hilarious!

Did anyone actually become the recipient of that "7ft fishing rod"? :smt044 :smt044 :smt044

It still freaked me out seeing that bear only 30 feet from me across the fence Friday night

I woke up Friday at 3 am to get after what I thought was a raccoon. Gaff in one hand I grab my chair and throw it at it, and that sent it up the tree.
Back in the bag  and 45 min later I hear grunting, and growling of a animal with larger lung capacity than a raccoon. And out that tree came what I now think was a cub.As a parting gift  it left us a fresh pile of scat.

Man, that was pretty funny.  So many people were in on it, I actually believed it at first.   :smt044

My favorite quote of the weekend.

"Man...meth makes you strong"

You had to be there.   :smt044
Never argue with an idiot. They'll just drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience.

Some guys actually paddled in cause they were worried about their rigs, tho. We were pretty close in on the kelp bed and two went by us to go check the beach.

I didn't find that part funny at all.  If you took part in that, shame on you.  :smt012

I realize some channels are for open vessel to vessel communication (68&69) but listening to the constant bullshit gets annoying and ties up the channel for someone who may actually be trying to transmit useful information across.

You got names?  I can deliver the rod, or rods if needed.  Promise I'll strip off a couple of guides for comfort.  I paddled In over a mile before a friend moved my truck for me.  Was in central black sands area when the prank began.
Was very very uncool

Indeed, I did not think it was funny either. According to AK's report, I think it turned out to be a local who got "Karma-lized" later that night. As an FYI- tow zones have to be posted and include applicable vehicle code, tow company name, phone number and address.

+1.  I hope nobody here was actually in on it.  If so, you better hope I don't find out.

I was about 2 miles out when I heard it.
Even though it didn't directly affect me as my vehicle was at camp, I couldn't help but be pissed thinking that someone else who might be this far out would either have to paddle back to hopefully move their car in time or have to worry about the cost and hassle waiting for them when they returned ruining what would otherwise be a great time on the water.
