I wanna see what Jim and SinCoast and JJQ say.  It was a little big last year too. We fished outside early and all came back in a little later on. I think it all has to do with swell direction.  As of now I'm going.


Edit, SinCoast said it looks ok to him.

I'm in!!!!  Plenty of sheltered areas in the cove.  Swell is no big deal.  Wind is a bigger factor but it will be light in the morning.  Forecast last year for opening day was way worse and there were 20 guys out at least.

I think im going to try inside the bay tomorrow. Launch at Del Monte about 0630. Things are looking a little rough IMO for stillwater. I don't take to staying inside the cove to much...

If my thumb wasn't f*cked I'd be out there.

Forecast doesn't look that bad to me...plenty of good fish and fun to be had in and around the cove as well.

These nice Lings were from inside the cove.
