We've got some good wood artists on the site,  Maybe change the ling into an Alaskan style ling?

As much as forum members enjoy their other activities NCKA has primarily been about the kayak + fishing = kayakfishing. I like the old logo with the toothy ling but agree there's a lot of great art out there & wouldn't mind having a kayak & a fish within the logo.

Why don't we wait and see some of the stuff that some of the guys are working on and save the voting for a later date.

Having had a hand in creating the original logo (with bsteves), I guess I am partial to it.  However, I'm not offended by those that don't like it or want a change.

I will say that our logo is quite recognizable.  I like the sort of craggy and rough imagery that it portrays... it's reminiscent like our coastline.   I'd definitely not want to lose that feel in a new logo.

Ok Sorry, I'm a tad partial to the image. It has no pussification sunset in it. Just the nor cal look to it. Will the original also be put up for us to vote on?
