Given the NWKA.com - PayPal address, I'm assuming this is a joint NWKA - NCKA effort?

Really though, if a person doesn't scroll down it goes unseen.

Ok, I put it at the top of the left column.  I'll leave it up there for a week, then slowly move it down the column.

Better, check the log-in to see if that person has donated for the current year. If so, move it down. If not, make it bigger each month. By Dec it should take half the screen and blink  :smt002

Well, I run both off the same server, but NCKA takes 80% of the resources.  It's just that when I initially opened the paypal account, I used the NWKA address.

For every 50 dollar donation to NCKA general operating fund I will waive the enrty fee for Albion for the first 50 people.  Not AOTY. Please write, Albion Free Ride, in the comment box so Allen can tell me who is on for this deal. Thanks for supporting NCKA and Albion Open. Craig

Annual fundraiser event...like a dinner or potluck style @ $20/person. All proceeds go to the site. We do these type of fundraiser events for other clubs I belong to. But they usually do it at a nice restaurant and charge $50/person. They way NCKA rolls/cooks/potlucks, we could maximize our funds by doing it @ a less-expensive venue [like a park or a beach] and we could provide the food, instead of paying somebody to cook for us!
I would totally throw in $20 for a kickass fundraiser event. And I bet there's at least another 40 members who would do the same. That's $800 minus overhead (park or beach reservation). Heck, maybe that's what the PIF event could morph into?

I think this is a great idea! Count me in!!!

Right on Allen.  I'm glad you put up the donation thing. For as many hits as this site gets, you for sure need to have a kick ass store-you already know that.  When the time comes, please consult the membership on what we'd like to see in the store.  I'd love to have a hooded NCKA rash guard.  This site has been life-altering for me and I'm down to do what it takes to keep it going.  Put up a shit load of ads for all I care.  They aren't that big of a deal, most of us watch TV and read magazines, and those are full of ads, we just work around them.  Do what you gotta do man.  I'm not trying to turn this into an AOTY discussion, but I gotta get this out.  AOTY is fun.  When you go fishing, you never know what is gonna end up on your hook.  It could be the biggest fish of that species the competition sees all year (Alshobie, striper, dropshot, nightcrawler, epic) and then you win something.  Seeing past the bullshit is part of the game.  Make it fun, ignore the bullshit.  NCKA has really turned something I loved, into something I am truly passionate about and I am thankful for that.  And I am thankful for all of you for bringing out that passion in me.  Support the site and help make NCKA even more incredible.
