no the gate only has an opening the width of a kayak. It's only about 30-40yards from parking to the water either a cart or have someone help you carry the yak down

I know the Amador event had a entrance fee, I may have missed it, but i did not see any kind of entry fee listed in this thread. Can you break that down for me? I would like to enter the event and get my first river fish on my kayak.

I know it is $15 to cover the cost of the FreshKats tournaments insurance for a year. Then there is a separate charge for any FreshKats tournaments you choose to attend. I don't know how much it costs for port o sac. Here are some links.

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.  ~John Buchan

There is a $15. Liability insurance fee that is good for one calendar year unfortunately the years is almost up. So it will only cover you for this event.
Each event has a $10. Entry fee. So this event will cost you $25.
Both of which are payable at registration the morning of the event.

And there are no fees to launch at the port access.

Just skimmed through the linked threads. ten dollars to enter in each event and 15 for yearly entry so it will cost me 25 to get in that morning. I will be going to this event. Never fished for striper there though. lol
