I don't have an anchor yet, but i was planning on trolling mostly. Are anchors a must out there

Nope, though if you want to cheat, go buy a $5 Brush Anchor at FW, get a cheap carabiner, and tie the two together with 24-36" of paracord, clip the 'biner onto your kayak and clip the brush anchor onto a piling or a dock or a tree to keep you from blowing downwind... There are even a pair of eyebolts glued onto the bridge pilings under Lake Washington Blvd....
Let me explain something to you. Um, I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

Sorry about lack of info here.  Left town 3 days after amador and I'll be back on the 24th.  I only see most of my family every few years (its been 3) so i haven't had any free time, everyone wants to catch up and meet baby Henry...
The rules and format are the same as last year.  Ill post them anew when i get home.

Grand prize for the series is a fish cleaning station :)
Ill pick up final prizes next week and let y'all know what i get :)
There will be a drawing from all attended events via wristband (amador folks i made wristbands for you) for a Lawrance
Elite 4. Via CAwingshooter and Lawrance

The more people I know are gonna show up, the more prizes I'll get, if someone wants to start a roll call thread with rules from last year, i would appreciate it.

Jim

I know the Amador event had a entrance fee, I may have missed it, but i did not see any kind of entry fee listed in this thread. Can you break that down for me? I would like to enter the event and get my first river fish on my kayak.
There is a $15. Liability insurance fee that is good for one calendar year unfortunately the years is almost up. So it will only cover you for this event.
Each event has a $10. Entry fee. So this event will cost you $25.
Both of which are payable at registration the morning of the event.

And there are no fees to launch at the port access.

Tim.  There are no launch fees at the port access.

Do we know what the start time is yet? It is starting with the low tide I hope.  Is the scoring the same as last year? Anymore details?

Soooo, I have found an $88.70 Port-a-pot that I can pick up on my trailer and bring out... Anyone want to split/Shit cost on it. Will arrive/leave with me. Interested? PM or let me know here. with 18 users @ $5.00 ea would cover it. Will have combo lock, so our use only... I'll supply 2 ply TP

If I brought it I wouldn't tow it. I would put it on a flat bed truck along with my kayak. I think my kayak hangs off the back of my pickup too far and might be in the way of a trailer. I would bring it from American Canyon.

I should add that if it was convenient for someone to tow one from Vacaville to the port, I could bring it home and I think we could get it for free. Anyone driving up 80 who's kayak doesn't hang real far off the back? Or if someone could add my kayak to their load I could tow it with my pickup. I've already got the ok to bring one on a flatbed, I'll check to be sure I can use a trailer version if we want to do it that way.
