I couldn't get that into the yak too heavy for me. If I could lift it out of the water I'd flip over. So did he need help to get that thing into the yak?

I have a 44 inch Riffe Cannon with a slip tip on it that I will be happy to deploy and blast any halibut floating yakside.

I can jump in with the gopro filming and blast that puppy...

Or I guess we could just shoot it while sitting in the yak...but that wouldn't be as much fun.

That's correct - no penalties for assisting someone to land a fish.
