Do we need to bring sleeping gear? Sleeping bag......

Do you really want to sleep in an old grungy blanket used by 100 other fishermen before you?

They sell beer onboard at a reasonable cost. Space is limited so if you did want to bring alcohol, wine or more concentrated forms might be a better choice. One of my favorite memories on the Islander was drinking a shot of some strange stuff (burgermeister?) with Zilla.

Per the Islander, they said some people take a pillow and sleeping bag, money to tip the crew and honor system on the beer (you pay at the end.)

Pat has recruited another guy, Jeff.  So it looks like we're down to one open spot.  So if you're at all on the fence, time to jump on it before it disappears.

Jeff Morgan is taking my spot. I called OEX and let them know to expect a call from him. My 50 dollar deposit will be rolled over to Jeff.

Very cool--thank you, Antonio! I owe you a beer. And hopefully some WSB/yt fillets!
BTW if I catch a damned WSB, we are eating it right there on the boat! I'd want to share it with everybody.

Chad Woods from Sportfishingreports.com had big new re SoCal fishing on the radio show last night.

He says the northern Channel Islands are experiencing an unprecedented run of YT and WSB now.  Even the coast near Malibu has "tanker" WSB.  Fish in the 50's and 60's # range.  This includes the Santa Barbara islands as well as Catalina.  San Clemente is the next in line heading south.........In a couple weeks, who knows what might blow up there?

Could be epic.  Please do not bring any banana's and sign up NOW if  there's any possible way for you to take advantage.
