I think OEX was going to open it up on BWE after this weekend.  One spot left as of today.

Joe,  wanna split the cost of SCTrace's deposit to keep it NCKA?

We're kind of past the deposit stage.  Need to pay in full to secure a spot.

I could have found 25,  hard to find another 250 after Sin Coast cleaned me out.

Looks like Jim Sammons and Drew Gregory are headed out there now.   They will supposedly update their twitter with every hookup:   https://twitter.com/KayakFishingTV

Pretty good intel I guess.

I don't think they are updating live.

"We will be offshore with the Islander for the next 3 days and will not be able to update you folks on our adventure, but we will be 'Tweeting' live! Every hookup! Live to our delorme map. Check it out!"

So I guess we have to look at Delorme's Map?

Do I need to bring wheels to get the kayak from the parking lot to the boat? or will we be able to offload the car close to the boat?

You can offload pretty close but you'll need to wheel or have a helper from the unload spot to the boat.

A little birdie called me today with a report from this weekend's Islander 2.5 day trip.  Tough weather and a bit of a south swell.  No WSB.  One yellowtail landed.  Another lost in the anchor of the boat when the fish pulled the kayaker into it.  Spots of YT's were popping up here and there.  Need to be ready for them.  Some decent Halibut.  Drew Gregory got a 22# on a bass rod.  And yes, Calicos.

Guys, we need to keep safety in mind.  A yaker on this weekends trip went through the cheese grater up on the rocks.  Was left high and dry for a sec before the next wave came in.  Lost 2 rods.
