I don't mind the expletives although you won't see them in my posts. It's a kayak fishing blog after all not the Boy Scouts of America.

I gotta quote Dennis Miller, "F&^k it, who wants pie?" It is like anything, once you post it, it is out there. I have personally posted some stuff I wished later I hadn't, but nothing that I wouldn't normally say. There are some that have thin skin, some with tough hides. If there is a poster, even me, that you do not agree with politically, or think they are idiots, don't read their posts! There are a handful that I don't ever read, and for all I know they are posting the winning numbers of the lotto! With that being said, and you still reading, means that I have not p#*$ed you off enough yet! jk. I am with Great Bass, this aint the boy scouts, nobody is grabbin my junk! But go ahead and talk about it.

I call shenanigans. EWB was probably trying to express his excitement and be funny at the same time (the term "Fucking A" applied to the Oakland Athletics). At least, that's how I interpretted it. But what do I know...For about 3yrs, that's how I replied Yes to most questions: Fucking A!

This is a good reminder to watch our P's and Q's though. Some people get offended easily. And other people allow their children to browse kayak fishing forums on the internet. I'm not saying either one is right or wrong--I'm just restating the facts.

Still laughing at that one... Eric im with you on that. The great national passtime? Ive tried to enjoy it, but would rather read the owners manual for a Betamax video recorder.

I use foul language in my posts because I type replies to topics and post fishing reports in the first person. The way you read my reports or replies is how you would be hearing it from my mouth if you asked me how my fishing trip was. I feel that is the best way I can "paint a picture" and give the reader the feeling as if they were there with me. My favorite reports are the ones where I feel like I'm right there with the writer. Swearing doesn't offend me, if the person posting feels it will add something to what they want to say, let it fly.
Regarding moderation, if foul language isn't directed toward any specific person, then get your Laissez Faire on.
And finally, please know that in person I don't swear around women and children unless they do first.

chill out, what about the no fu**Ing around at albion post that was like 5 pages long and no one bitched at that, are we limited to cursing in different sub forums but not here, i say lay down so ground rule so no one can claim they didnt know.
