Almost finalized plans with the Harbor Master at Pillar Point and HMB Kayak to have our hookup right next to HMB kayak from Friday - Sunday; but if it does go through, it will be limited to the only to 15 or so people. So if you are planning on camping Friday through Sunday, let me know;

I'm down to camping. Lance Camper here.

Alright Sunguy! See you there!

You mention Friday night chill/party. Should we bring food like a potluck get together or is it more like just a hangout? I'll probably just drop by fri night and come back the next morning since I live so close. See you guys out there.

Nothing formal; some guys brought food to nibble on during the evening. We justed chilled and got our gear ready for the morning drop.....

Yeah, they did; but thats a broad area that the forecast covers. Hopefully, knock on wood, the higher end of the forecast stays well north of us; and our brothers at Blowdega area....

Even so, the mornings are generally calmer and the winds don't pick up until noonish.... we may push our launch time to 07:30, to beat the winds....

I will be there Friday around 5-6.  I will bring an extra table and crab pot.  Bagoong, vinegar, eggplant, rice and filipino dish for friday.  Hopefully we will catch enough fish and crab for saturday night potluck.  Heard the loose screws might be crabbing on monday too so I might stay another day.

Cool, thanks! What time are you getting there? We can use the RVs, trailers and Cab-Overs to make a "Wagon Circle" and have the chill in the center....

Got the "GREEN Light" from the Harbor Master Office to camp by HMB Kayak!!!! So those of you that are bringing the the bigger community items (ie: canopies, tables, stove) will have 1st Priority for this area. But if you come on Saturday, I can not guarantee that you will have a spot if the boat trailers fill the area up before you get there; so get there early!!!!

Do you mean the dirt area behind HMB Kayak, or the same parking lot as last year's opener?
