HMB Pillar Point Crab Opener - 11/2 - 11/4

Last year we had a great turnout of kayakers at the Crab Opener at Pillar Point, and we will be having another hookup this year!

We will be calling it: The 2nd Annual Mooch "Crab Opener Chill & Kayaking" ("Mooch _._._._." for short) 

I all seriousness, come out and join Joel and his friends for the 2012 Dungeness Crab Opener on November 2 thru November 4...

I am currently working with the Harbor Master to see if we can use the area next to HMB kayak to have our hookup; that way we do not need to pull our kayaks back to the parking lot. It's a long shot, but worth a try; more details to follow.....

Count me in as tumulter #2 from 11/2 eve to 11/3 eve.

Welcome to the madness!   You have all your crabbing gear yet? If not, come by our crabbing clinic at CCK.

We should be there by noon Friday, all the way to Sunday.

We will be there! I may be going out with Fishfulthinking one of the days. When does R/F season close in HMB???

I'll be there.....we had a rockfish derby a few years ago and we chilled the night before next to cck's hmb location I wonder if they would let us have our chill at that spot again?

I can make the 2nd, but I think I have drill the rest of the weekend (3-4).  After all some one has to defend the SBS (Strategic Beer Stash).  But Asd I will be in Santa Rosa it might give me an excuse to go by Doran and chill with the North Bay Brothers at Doran!

Friday is party time!!! However, some brave souls usually go out and drop pots after midnight.....

Saturday is full bore bug hunting, with the chill factor later that day!!!!

I am a 75/25% in jus needing a trade for one more day... Sounds like a lot of fun and this will be my first ever crab trip...

I may make it the 3rd if I am not swamped at work

   I'm in.        Love that it's much closer than Doran,,,  w/ gas skyrocketing 20 cents / day.
