Everybody has to launch from MBK at 530AM.

Would trolling on the way out be worthwhile?

That would be great Scott on the bait. Is one each enough? Pm me real brief how you set up the leaders. I may have what I need here. If not I would gladly accept and pay for some. I'll let Adam know what is going on if he does not see it here.
 Thanks,  Rob

I'll get 3 trays for then2 of you. The leader is 20-30# fluoro leader 5-6' long,  5/0 gamakatsu barbless circle hook or owner light mutu circle Hook and  grind the barb off. snell knot on the hook or palomar and perfection loop on the other end. You will need a bait needle and slido with N 8 oz ball weight or in line 6-8 oz banana sinker.

that sounds good to me! will it count if then fish was caught from a PB.

No Alex. PB's have a real advantage landing salmon.
I figure it wouldn't count. It's just I already committed a spot on a PB and just wanted to get a confirmation on the ruling.

But who ever is collecting, come and see me and I will give up the 50% of the ante to the cause. I should be there after fishing.
good fishing...se ya out there.

You should review the regs. Barbless circle hooks only.

If you're mooching, you have to use barbless circle hooks. If you're trolling, you just have to use barbless single hooks (don't have to be circles). But nobody is trolling...way too many jellyfish plus the salmon are 150ft deep.
Scott, if I'm there by 530 I'll join the comp. Good idea & sounds like fun!

Would it be possible for someone to pick up bait for me and Adam? We will be driving all night to get there. An hour or two of sleep in the parking lot would be great not having to worry about bait. Thanks to whoever might volunteer in advance.
  Rob
Hey Rob see you in the parking lot.  We are doing the same thing from Vallejo.

Ricci -

See my post above. Bring a couple of bait needles. They are easy to farm and without one, you cant rig using the preferred method. Bring a bag of small rubber bands and the biggest strongest net you can get your hands on.
