Adding to the prizes, we got a load of nets, gaffs, and fish billies from Ranger Nets.  All tough as nails landing gear made in the USA.

Fort Ross Lodge has not returned a call to anyone so I called Timber Cove Lodge and they have plenty of rooms available for one or 2 nights during the event weekend.

We changed the location of the Tournament Page to http://www.kayakfishing.com/events    dropping the .html at the end.

As of this morning, there is better than a one in ten chance of winning an RTM Abaco, K Largo, Tempo or KEO Fishing Kayak at the Fall Classic.  Even if we see a surge of registrations leading up to the event, the odds of taking home a new kayak are fabulous.  Pre-registration will cut off on Wednesday, October 24th so we can finalize everything.

Only a few quiet and reserved sites remain, please get your registrations in.  Ocean Cove expects no issues with general campsite availability.

Big or small, it's going to be a fun bash and I can't wait!

I did not have a site reserved yet. Just want to split the rental expense with anyone whose site is big enough for one more mini van parking.

If your a quiet person might want to stay farrrrr away from the AHull site :smt005  J/K  NOT they just like to have Fun :smt044

OC charge 20 bucks per person (I think) a nite...not sure if you can split that... would be curious to know what FM1 payed for his group last weekend??? there was bout 10 of them and it was NOT quiet but if you drink enough Jaeger it kind of blurs  :sm :smt002 :smt005  :smt044

Its a very large campgrounds and it would take a lot to fill it up  cya OTW!!!

Thanks All,
Even with registrations coming in daily, I anticipate the odds of winning a new (RTM) fishing kayak are better than any event in the country.

Camping-Gerard (kayak fishing paella chef) and I scouted Ocean Cove the other day to plan the feeds, weigh-in station and Tournament Headquarters, they said there will be plenty of campsites for this event.  I still have 3 or 4 spots in the reserved site available.

Non-camping accomodations- I stopped in at Fort Ross Lodge after no returned call in 6 tries.  They apologized profusely for that.  They have plenty of rooms for $119 per night, a better deal might be worked for 2 nights.  Timber Cove lodge is generally more expensive but worth a call to see since discount rates are not uncommon in the"off-season".

I also stopped in to see Brenda at Timber Cove and give her a heads up since this event should see a rush on TC.  She's a great ambassador and a friend to the sport.

More Prizes- Subscriptions to Terrafin Imaging. Swag from Yak-Gear.com and Ranger Nets.  Thanks to all the Fall Classic Sponsors, we really appreciate the support!

I'm pretty sure OC is $20 per car per nite, I was up earlier this year and the 20/nite included me my truck and trailer.

Any families going? I'll probably bring the wife and son. Driving up Thursday.  Fishing Thursday afternoon, if the weather cooperates, and also Friday + Saturday

The sites are $20 per site/vehicle, not per person.  Ocean Cove campground is a treasure!  Especially with State Parks campsites reaching 35-$40 bucks a night, some without services beyond water!

Sunce Winery and Vinyard donated a generous wine prize.
