Question about camping.  It's 20/person/night?  So if I can convince the wife to let us go (mothers day wknd), im looking at $60 night for me and two kids?

Yes, but that's the group area - if you rent a space in the campground OUTSIDE the group area it's like $35/night or something, but they're small sites.  You should call the campground to discuss the different options and accurate prices.  (707) 986-7474.  Maybe you could broker a deal for group area at $40/night because the kids won't be cleaning gear or taking up much space with vehicle or yak...

 PLEASE FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE STEPS:

2. When your name appears on Erics' REGISTERED LIST,
    PM me with screen name, full name, and approved team choice.
    (You need to be approved by one or more members of an existing team)
    (You can also start a new team of 2-10 members)
3. Once I have received your PM, I will put you on your team and your IN.

You do not need to be in the team comp. to be eligible to fish,
 but you do need to fish with someone with a VHF for safety puposes

If I have missed someone that is REGISTERED and PMed me,
you want to start a new team,
I put someone on wrong team,
or your on a team and can't make it,
 PM me.

I will be at Erics' safety/intro meeting at the launch
and at the campground Friday evening for teams
needing to make final adjustments.
No team adds or drops will be accepted after 9:00 p.m. Fri.
(unless I'm still awake and you bring some bribe payola, gear or beer)

TEAM TOURNEY RULES
1. Team Average Format
    Total team points divided by the number of anglers on team=Team score
2. All scores on the team will be averaged,
     whether an angler fished or not,
     posted a score or not,
     got skunked or not
     or was a no show.
3. Late scores will not be accepted.
    Once The main board closes it's done.

Finally,
 Some of you know I'm not the "competitive type" when it comes to fishing.
I started the Team Tourney component of Gimme Shelter last year (Thanks Eric!)
as a way for me to personally give back to the community (NCKA) and tournament (Gimme Shelter)
that has been so influencial in my life over the past 5 years.
It's my hope that we can "compete" in the true spirit of sportsmanship,
to congratulate and celebrate the victorious and come to the realization
that we are all winners when we are on the water together persuing our passion!

I see that I have been assigned a team.  Thanks.  Better than having to decide among friends.

I will get there Weds late and plan to fish crab dive on Thurs.  Who else will be up there early and want to show a beginner some ab tricks.

I hope to have a few hours to play on Friday.  Would love to hookup on a dive or some salmon trolling.   

me and my dad will be there Thursday around noon plan on fishing diving crabbing Ed and Alan from Utah will also along with Bigfoot!

Oh ya, I wasn't complaining (-: I was just surprised. I'm stoked & ready to go right now! It's crazy to see how many people are going this year. Gimme Shelter 6 is going to be a huge boon for the local economy. And that makes me happy. Hey everybody happy!

Well yesterday was the day the wife finally asked about the trip when I started rummaging through the camping stuff. She said all she knew was she sent a check for it and the trip was sometime in May. My response just a couple of days... Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, back sometime on Sunday. Lucky for me she is a great wife and the trip won't cost too many WAF points.
Gonna be a great time from the sounds of it.
