For me...if I bring home a cooler full of abs, uni, dungies and fish I'll be all good.

Well yesterday was the day the wife finally asked about the trip when I started rummaging through the camping stuff. She said all she knew was she sent a check for it and the trip was sometime in May. My response just a couple of days... Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, back sometime on Sunday. Lucky for me she is a great wife and the trip won't cost too many WAF points.
Gonna be a great time from the sounds of it.

Can't ask for more than that in a wife. Best of luck out there Jim.

                              TEAM SIGN-UP PROCEDURE
 PLEASE FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE STEPS:
1. Register with Eric by 4/12/12
2. When your name appears on Erics' REGISTERED LIST,
    PM me with screen name, full name, and approved team choice.
    (You need to be approved by one or more members of an existing team)
    (You can also start a new team of 2-10 members)
3. Once I have received your PM, I will put you on your team and your IN.

You do not need to be in the team comp. to be eligible to fish,
 but you do need to fish with someone with a VHF for safety puposes

If I have missed someone that is REGISTERED and PMed me,
you want to start a new team,
I put someone on wrong team,
or your on a team and can't make it,
 PM me.

I will be at Erics' safety/intro meeting at the launch
and at the campground Friday evening for teams
needing to make final adjustments.
No team adds or drops will be accepted after 9:00 p.m. Fri.
(unless I'm still awake and you bring some bribe payola, gear or beer)

TEAM TOURNEY RULES
1. Team Average Format
    Total team points divided by the number of anglers on team=Team score
2. All scores on the team will be averaged,
     whether an angler fished or not,
     posted a score or not,
     got skunked or not
     or was a no show.
3. Late scores will not be accepted.
    Once The main board closes it's done.

Finally,
 Some of you know I'm not the "competitive type" when it comes to fishing.
I started the Team Tourney component of Gimme Shelter last year (Thanks Eric!)
as a way for me to personally give back to the community (NCKA) and tournament (Gimme Shelter)
that has been so influencial in my life over the past 5 years.
It's my hope that we can "compete" in the true spirit of sportsmanship,
to congratulate and celebrate the victorious and come to the realization
that we are all winners when we are on the water together persuing our passion!

I'm ready to paint some plywood and drink some beer. I'm off the last weekend in April. Let's get out drink and paint on. I may have to get my troll on that weekend as well. Dawn patrol at the Cove. Pre-GS6 fishing.

On another note- Zack and I poured a bunch of swimbait lead head jigs in 1 1/2, 2 and 2 1/2 ounce- long shank galvanized hooks. We'll have them for sale at .75 apiece or three for two bucks. Triangle heads. Find us at camp on Thursday or Friday eve if Interested.

Holy crap!  TWO?!!   

I'm staying sober for the event!   

Registration closed in mid April. 

3 new entries today, and BTW, it took 6 days for mail to get here from Washington, but it may take only a couple from the Bay Area...  The postmark is the key.  Southern Humboldt got here overnight.
