Thank you for putting "kayak fishing tournament" on there. I wish everybody would do that.....

The last I heard was there's one mini-suite left at The Tides Inn.  It's a 3 nights for the price of 2 deal - Friday, Saturday, Sunday, May 11th, 12th and 13th.  Call Julie at The Tides to check it out - (707) 986-7900

We may hold a small pre-potluck Friday evening on The Tides patio, and the main potluck and awards ceremony is held there Saturday night.  It's a rare spot, and we watch out for each other as only tournament participants stay there for the weekend.  Great beach access and close to the action at the ramp, fish cleaning station and campground.  Somebody snatch it up!   :smt001

Eric,
Just wondering when I order extra shirts can I order a 4t and 6t size for my boys? Let me know since I told them they would get a shirt this year too.
Thanks
jim

I'll check that out, Jimbo, and get back to you here.

Shirt people emailed back that it shouldn't be a problem, Jimbo.  The graphics may not fit as well, but we'll come up with something appealing.

Thanks Eric, will be putting in the mail tonight. Boys will be excited to get their shirt!
Thanks
JIm  :smt006

Let's just say the Gimme Shelter 6th Anniversary Ale  yeast is starting to take off.  Should be 5 gallons of nice strong ale probably  close 8.5%  or greater.  :beer1  I broke my hydrometer during the process  :smt010 so won't be able to get an accurate one but it doesn't really matter as long as it tastes great!  Anyone else feel like brewing a batch , I will be bringing my co2 to keep it following. Will also bring a homemade rootbeer for those little beer drinker! :smt005

Cheers!  :beer3

Wow 9 pounds of malt!  Lots of sugar to convert to alcohol.  The last batch I brewed with that much malt, blew the airlock off of the carboy after the secondary hopping.  Luckily, I was able to save it and ended up with a great Imperial IPA with 8.6% ABV.  I can loan you my Hydrometer if your anywhere near Danville before the brew is finished.

Hi Guys,

I'm considering joining the party at GS6, but my regular fishing buddy Mudshark will have a new puppy then and does not want to leave the dog at home with his girlfriend.  I want to go, and would like to car pool with someone heading up from the Sacramento area.  I don't mind driving, but would like to split gas and a camp site.  Shoot me a PM.

Joe

Should be plenty of sites.  I'm bringing the Team Something Jayco up.  There will be 4 of us in our site.

If the weather is like last year's it will handle it better than my tent.

Looking forward to the camping party.  Look for the NWKA dudes hanging around this mini hotel.
