No worries amigo.  And I'm super stoked to be coming too...all those years of being a 'maybe' will be done with!  I had to sell it to the wife as a combo trip-  fishing and mini family vacation, so we rented a house with my cousin and her family.  We'll have 4 boys in the house, ages 2,3,4 & 5.  Time on the water will be cherished!  :smt001

Excellent!  Your kids and the cousins are gonna have a blast - bring the Boogie Boards!  They're never too young to get wet and sandy.   :smt001

Damn!  If I keep pouring swimbaits, I'll need to rent a trailer to transport them by the time GS-6 gets here.

Check this out - A blurb I saw on another board very recently:

For what it's worth, I've been hearing reports about lots of salmon being incidently caught at the Cove by the nearshore commercial rockfish fleet and sporties dragging for Callies and threshers. Some fish estimated in the mid teens.

So, some history:  salmon come closer to shore along the coast at Shelter Cove; the ocean salmon season used to start there the second weekend in February - I've had days years past in March where all the chovies in a bag got bit by salmon - granted, they're usually smaller (6 to 10 pounds), but there are bigger fish too.  Anyway, early sign of lots of salmon bodes very well for us.   :smt007

Here are some pics of a trough I'm making.   :smt001

Should be plenty of sites.  I'm bringing the Team Something Jayco up.  There will be 4 of us in our site.

If the weather is like last year's it will handle it better than my tent.
