Ill be there with my Uncle Snapperhead and his fam. I will also take a Hawg Trough if there are any left!

I can't wait to try out a new lake. Hopefully, the trout will cooperate and make it a great day for everybody!

" As the Fishery Biologist on the Eldorado NF that oversees Caples Lake I want to post  a message asking folks to clean their yaks prior to the Caples event to prevent to the spread on invasives.

Were are just getting our invasive species management and prevention off the ground and with so many threats out there, nows the time to get the message out.

This is a fair request and it would be nice if we could make every effort possable to accommodate it.

I cleaned mine after Albion and it hasn't seen water since.  I'm pretty sure it will be dry.

Although my attendance is 50/50 at best now.    I've got my fingers crossed.

I will be there with the wife and kids. Plus 1 for fishing.

We fish salt water or at Del Valle, which already does the inspection. I'll try and do the inspection before going out Friday afternoon. I just printed out the wiavers and noticed the 7:00am start time. Will be able to start fishing before that??
