Which one is the main ramp. Caples resort, or the county ramp?

Does anybody know if dogs are allowed?

I believe there will be limited troughs avail......If not any leagal measure device will work
You can get the waiver at the bottom of the roll call post ... I will also have extra copies avail at the sign in.
I will have all the basics covered but extra for the pot luck is always welcome.

I'm leaving from auburn sat late morn Sac, try grumpy bass sat 5-6pm look in the hookup section for caravan thread. I can carry 2 yaks and only taking 1 this time. Depending on how much gear you take might carpool. I'll be rooming it at the rockstar lodge. Rooms still available. Small car (87 VW cabriolet) I tend to bring a lot of gear (kitchen sink style) so let me know soon as I'm starting to pack today (origami Ninja style) I'll be hittn' the lake first light? to set up ect...

Sac Bee Fishing line 8/18/11

CAPLES LAKE - The lake is still full and should stay very high through September. Caltrans road work on Hwy 88 has been plagued with road closures and lane restrictions from the east up over Carson Pass making access to this lake problematic from that direction. Fishing was good at Wood's Creek, Emigrant Creek, the dam, and spillway according to John Voss at the Caples Lake Resort. Shore anglers and trollers/bait drifters were picking up limits of mostly planters with a sprinkling of the 3 to 5 pounders put in by EID. One resort cabin guest caught 10 fish to 2 pounds in 30 minutes at Wood's Creek on nightcrawlers this past week.

Just so this is clear, we must all launch from same place and that place being the main ramp? Also no fishing before 7am?
